One of my greater accomplishments in life...

Only Lili could take this average picture:

and this picture of Dumbledore's Army from Harry Potter:

And create this: (click on it to see it larger... trust me... you might want to.)

and this:

So there you have it. I DO spend all my days fusing myself into Harry Potter pictures. So what? Can't a girl dream?

A Productive Day Indeed

I have been feeling like a lazy slob lately, but on Tuesday, after Preschool, I decided before I had to go into work at 3, I was going to get some things accomplished. things such as replacing my missing license and registering for housing next fall. So I started by heading across the street to the Riviera, where Nicole and two of her roommates had already registered, and i signed right up to live with them, so that is all taken care of and everything. I then proceeded with an hour and a half to spare to the License Office where it took exactly 26 minutes in and out. Awesome. I was left with an hour remaining before work! just as I was pulling into the Glenwood lot, I ran into one Jeff Ribeira, where we had a lovely chat for a while. I felt rather accomplished and felt it was a day not wasted at all. Cheers for good time management. Something I thought I would never be able to do. I would actually like to thank dad, who is always willing to help me out and always checks up on me to see if I am doing what I am supposed to. It leaves me with such a happy feeling, and motivates me to take responsibility of my life. Thanks dad.

Things I have been meaning to share!

Here are some things I have wanted everyone to share since the beginning, and since I have just uploaded my pics off of my camera, here they are:

These are my glorious curtains. I love these curtains. This was a special project I thought of as soon as I realized I was on the bottom bunk. I went out, bought a cheap shower curtain, and a $2 sheet. Jennie, my dearest roommate generously sewed them into curtains, while Mandy screwed in the pole. These curtains have been more useful than I had ever thought, and it is fun just to... ya know... chill and stuff in my own little fort. Hurrah for my little fort.
Here are the little girls frolicking among the curtains. Cute times. They watched a movie in there while I cleaned the bathroom for cleaning checks.

ALSO! For FHE one night, we did a little christmas painting collage, and my contribution was our family dressed up in PJs as I imagined as a child. Surely the ages are a bit inaccurate, but I thought it was a good representation! And here it is:

Drew and Matt should thank me for not putting them in night gowns as well, as happened some Christmases... Anyway, much love to you all!

Book Tag, from Megan!

Rules of the Game:
1. Find the nearest book to you.
2. Name the book and author.
3. Turn to page 123.
4. Go to the fifth sentence on the page.
5. Copy out the next 3 sentences and post to your blog.
6. Tag three other people.

I chose New Moon by Stephenie Meyer, as it was sitting right next to me. and I heart New Moon.

"That was usually about when the screaming started.
I wasn't paying attention to where I was driving-just wandering through empty, wet side roads as I avoided the ways that would take me home- because I didn't have anywhere to go.
I wished I could feel numb again, but I couldn't remember how I managed it before."

Thanks Megan. I tag Mummsies, Emily, and Mattie. GO!

Our new best friend!

I would like you all to meet the miraculous 8th wonder of the world... The Egg and Muffin Toaster.

Basically this is what Miri gave Megan for her birthday, and in the past week it has gotten probably more than its cost per use out of it. Like, beyond... everything. Basically all you do, is get your toast/bagel/mcmuffin/bread-type-substance put it in the toaster, crack your egg into the little side egg cooker mix it a little bit, add some water into the little pan below the egg, and if you prefer, place the heating tray above the egg and stick your ham/bacon/meat-like-substance in there and push the button. It starts by cooking the egg, and about 1 minute before it gets done, it starts to toast the bread and then voila! Peftect McMuffin. 1 minutes prep time, 3 minute wait time, and a perfect breakfast! We like to buy those cheese singles to lay on top, because they melt so deliciously. I vote we buy this for Drew! And it seems like something that is right up Mattie's isle. I HIGHLY recommend this, as it is a FANTASTIC accessory to have in your kitchen. Also is just a toaster if you aren't in any mood for eggs. Anyway, happy eatings to everyone! Enjoy your McMuffins, and... yes. Hooray.

The Beginning of the End of and Era...

It is a bitter sweet day. I try to figure out how I should be feeling, but I can't quite grasp my emotions. I am so confused at how I should react, but I can't seem to really to... anything about it. So what is going on, you may ask? I will tell you.

Yesterday, JK Rowling announced the release date for the final book of the Harry Potter series, book the seventh, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. This is the day I was dreading more than any other day. Because now I have to make a choice. The official release date is July 21st (which makes me mad, because hello! It is only about a week before that, that the movie comes out... Harry Potter overload. I like them to be very spaced out, so I can savour the moment.) I am mostly depressed out this because of the fact that Drew isn't going to be here. Infact, that is the sole reason I didn't this book to come out. We have SUCH a system, like you can't even believe. I can't imagine reading the book with out him, always being atleast 20 pages for him to catch up! Though this time, it will take him something like 7 MONTHS to catch up.

I made my decision a while ago, though EVERYONE is trying to talk me out of it. I am planning to wait until Drew gets home to read the book. If I waited this long for book seven, i can wait a bit longer. I know I will have the WHOLE book ruined, as people usually come to me first to discuss the book, but I am prepared for that. I understand the consequences of my actions, and I am prepared to deal with that.

So the question is, am I some kind of crazy insane? Yes, I think so, but we are talking about the FINAL Harry Potter book here. This is the close of a 9 year investment in my life of obsessing over something. I grew up with these characters, and now... it will be over. It is a hard realization to grasp, and I am not liking it. I was hoping this day would never come, and here it is. Long Live Harry Potter... THough I am pretty sure he is going to die at the end of book 7. Anyway, Happy Harry Potter Day, everyone.

Also, some more sad news. Daniel Radcliffe, or otherwise, Harry Potter is in a play in England called "Equus", where he performs nude on stage. I was sad at hearing the news, but then they had to go and release NUDE PICTURES of him! Posted them ALL OVER Harry Potter websites! Think how many little children saw their Hero, naked, cuddling with some hoochie girl! Just more proof how people are so... stupid. Yes, stupid. Like Gilderoy Lockhart said, "Fame is a fickle friend, Harry. Celebrity is as celebrity does. Remember that." All I know is one thing I never wanted to see was Harry Potter naked. Sigh... What is happening to my wonderous, magical world?
