So, we surf around the internet here and there, and sometimes we come across awesome things. These are some of my most favorite awesome things as of late:
1. Random blogs for general interest things. Such as cakewrecks, engrish.com or failblog.
Cakewrecks, for those who don't know, is a site for professionally made cakes that people ordered that went horribly horribly wrong. Thanks to Cami and Dad for introducing me to this site.
Here is an unfortunate gingerbread man, made from cupcakes covered in frosting...
And of course, sponge bob! A perfect likeness, no?
Failblog.org offers tons of pictures and movies of things that people have just completely failed at. Take for example these pictures:

Engrish.com is a lovely site of all the mistranslations in the world, mostly geared towards the Asian area. If you want hours of entertainment... this is the place to go.

So there it is for awesome sites. Another thing I like to play around with is podcasts. Usually podcasts have websites along with their itunes access, so that is fun. Recently my favorites are:
-The Stuff You Should Know series. www.stuffyoushouldknow.com . They do things like things you missed in history class, or things your mom forgot to tell you, or just stuff you should know. They just get to the bottom of myths like why some people never decay after death, or the history of Easter Island, or if gum really sits in your stomach for years, etc. Really fun to listen to if you are bored at work or something.
-Of course the Lost Podcasts are fun and interesting, though most of the people who call in sound like crazies, and are thinking WAY too much into the show (like they think who ever says the last line in each scene 7 times in a row will be the next to die... I honestly don't think the writers think THAT much into it.)
-After I got bored with those podcasts, I switched to old radio thriller and detective broadcasts from the 1940s-70s, and I have struck gold. These are absolutely amazing! It is such a brilliant reflection of the time period, and they are sometimes absolutely hilarious (unitentionally :) ) Anyway, I recommend awesome ones like "You Bet Your Life", and "The Man the Insects Hated." Work just flies right by.
And if you are wanting some viewing entertainment, I recommend:
surfthechannel.com - Basically they have links for a constantly growing collection of every tv show ever. It is constantly being updated and improved, so you are generally guaranteed to find what you are looking for. This site has saved me countless times!
Poptub-Here is my secret. This is how I find all my youtube videos (some of them atleast). The host girl is horribly annoying and immodest all the time, and says really stupid things, but we usually just ignore her completely and watch the videos. Sponsored by Pepsi, they usually dig up the most interesting and rapidly rising videos on youtube. They usually feature about 10-15 per episode. Anyway, if you are going to watch be warned, the host is basically unbearable, but the videos are awesome, and saves you a lot of searching time.
Anyway, there you go! Just thought I would share some of my favorites! Enjoy your internet-ing!

I have been privileged to peruse those first few blog you mentioned, and have had some great laughs, and cringes. Cakewrecks makes me cry sometimes.
And thanks to you, I rely on STC for all my American Idol needs, among other things.
Gotta love the endless entertainment the internet provides.
Awesome. I'm telling you, cakewrecks actually makes my day many times. Oh, it's great.
Thanks for all the tips. What would the internet do without you?
Elise! This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for! I thought I'd exhausted the internet..but it looks like i was wrong. Cakewrecks is so funny!
I enjoy all of those sites, especially engrish.com. Might I also suggest freerice.com...It's not funny, but it's good for filling time you would otherwise waste by doing work. Plus it feeds people AND makes you smart.
