One Glorious Year Ago...

What an amazing year it has been. I am ever so grateful every day to have my amazing husband with me in everything we do. Nothing ever seems to get Jeff down, whether it be having both arms severely injured and in slings at the same time, or having cars break down, or living off barely any money, or basically anything. He has been the ultimate husband for me, and I know someday he will be a brilliant father. I am also extremely grateful that we were sealed in the temple for time and all eternity. If anything has been apparent over this past year, it is the importance of the Gospel in our marriage, as well as our temple marriage. We are striving to live up to the things we promise to do in the Lord's house, and have been so blessed to feel Heavenly Father's presence in our family. Hooray for love, marriage, and the true and amazing Gospel.

Also, hooray for Disneyland, which is where we will be this week. :)

Here is the sketch...
And the beginnings of the painting. I am so happy for you Emily!

This picture is worthy of painting...

... and I think I will do just that. It is just too beautiful, just the composition and the meaning behind it. Hooray for Em and KC and their THREE fat babies they will be having not soon enough!

And also hooray for Cami's baby Jane for turning one. We had some serious bonding times on Sunday. I think she is finally branching out from snuggling just her mommy! Hooray!

Also hooray that Melody will be having a fat little baby boy some time this week! I can't wait to meet the little guy!

Also, yay that Matt and Cortnie and Jack drove to Disneyland spontaneously! That has always been a dream of mine, and they have now done it. We asked Matt if he could please drive to a burned down warehouse, and inform Jack that Disneyland burned down... :) Good ol' Jack Handy.

And super yay for Drew and Julie finally being together again after all these months. I can honestly say I know exactly how they felt, so I know exactly how they are feeling now, and it is truly the best feeling in the world! So I am very happy for the both of them.

And finally, hooray that I am going to Amber's young women tonight to teach Giant Journaling! It is going to be supa fantastic.

Be Honest...

... does this chair look like an elephant?
No matter, we bought it anyway! It comfortably fits two people, and reclines until it is pretty much flat! Hooray for this puffy, puffy chair.

And if is also fun to go from this...

To this!

Anyone for a movie night now that we have ample seating and a proper television?

FRE

So, I always like to be on the look out for free meal promotions for chain restaurants trying to expose their new menu items. Recently at Arby's, Jeff and I treated ourselves on many occasions to free roast beef burgers (with the purchase of any size drink) and we enjoyed a free Grand-Slamwich at Denny's the other day. But I think today's free meal beat them all! I guess, apparently thank to Oprah, every one gets a free KFC meal! Two pieces of their new Kentucky Grilled Chicken, with 2 sides and a biscuit. We did have to wait in line for about 20 minutes, because we went during the lunch rush, and they were behing on cooking the chicken, but we also saved 8 bucks! We may just go again as well, this time a little earlier. It was more than enough food for the both of us. Anyway, if anyone wants a coupon, let me know. They aren't available any more to download, but I have a copy you can just print off, and they are valid until the 19th.

In other news, Jeff and Jason worked very hard to put together our new computer! Basically Jeff found awesome deals on parts, and our computer ended up costing about 1/3 the price it would normally be! FINALLY I can design on a computer worthy of my talent :) Ok, I do have a long ways to go talent wise, but it does make a HUGE difference having 24 inches of widescreen and 6 gigs of DDR3 ram to play around in Illustrator with versus my little 14 inch laptop.

Also, our new apartment is about 3 times as big as our last place, and has been SO nice, especially when we had Jeff's sisters over for Cinco De Mayo, and we were able to all sit at the kitchen table comfortably with room to spare. What a luxury!

AND! We found Animaniacs Volume 1 for an awesome price at Costco. That show is absolutely brilliant.

Finally, only 20 days until the most insanely awesome Disneyland extravaganza ever! Seriously, this vacation is worthy of making t-shirts for it. Not only are we going to Disneyland, I will be fulfilling a lifelong dream of going with my dear cousin Britney, and another lifelong dream of taking my husband with me as well. And Drew and Julie will make it awesomly awesome as well. Don't be jealous, y'all!

Also, HAPPY MAY DAY! YAY MAY DAY!

Moving Day!

Today is the glorious moving day. We have been moving stuff over since yesterday, and we are basically done! And our old apartment is already spic and span, so I don't even have to worry about that!

Now, we just need to assemble the whole apartments worth of Ikea furniture that we bought yesterday. Pictures to follow! Stay tuned.
