... I did this :) Grandma asked for me to do an illustration of her and Grandpa walking down the stairs to the river. I felt honored to complete such a project.
I am eternally grateful for when Grandpa felt well enough to help us out with our legal issues dealing with our scooter accident. We were constantly emailing back and forth, giving each other phone calls, as well as Jeff. I feel so blessed that I was able to grow so close to my Grandpa. I have always felt the accident was part of our plan, leading us to different paths in life, and perhaps growing closer to Grandpa was one of those little blessings that came along with that. I now treasure those emails he sent me. I felt like he was doing his legal work out of love for his family, and Jeff and I felt that love often. Looking around our apartment it is hard not to think of Grandpa, since because of him everything around us exsists! We miss him so much. He was an amazing, inspirational man who everyone looked up to an admired. I can't wait to see him again some day. I can only imagine he is enjoying a very large pomegranate and sitting in his own river retreat right now.
Because I can express myself artwise a little better...

Very nice.
I love it - perfect right down to Grandpa's jacket.
