An update.

Since most things I post are youtube videos, I thought I would update everyone with life. Which is not too exciting right now, so I will be brief.

Jeff is done with finals, getting B's and higher on all his tests! Way to go, my man. He has also recently been accepted to do an on campus internship which he is extremely excited and enthusiastic about. He can tell you all more about that later.

Penny is coming along nicely. I am 28 weeks, and she seems quite content flailing around on the inside. We can't wait until she is here in our arms.

I recently flew out to Maryland to help with Emily's triplets. What a job she and KC and mom have been doing! Even with 5 adults watching those three babies was a handful, I can't imagine how they do it alone, but then I look at those babies' cute faces and you can't resist but make them happy.

The scariest part was getting to the airport, getting through security and boarding a plane with 3 infants. Mom, Em and Dad each had a baby strapped to them, with me carrying diaper bags and blankets and what not. Surprisingly, the babies hardly made a peep, except before feeding time, and only then made little cries for about one minute. The 6 year old sitting behind us cried more than these babies combined.

So, all is well here. Jeff is proving to be an outstanding pre-father, taking care of Emily's babies. We took the night shift Wednesday, and he almost natually fed and put to sleep most of them. At one point he was sleeping on the floor, pushing the swing after the batteries died to keep the babies quiet, and then after that was rocking a baby, and with his foot bouncing another in the bouncy seat. What a nice guys, my Jeff is, and what a fine father he will make in less than 3 months.

Anyway, for your entertainment, here is a video Jeff made for his Russian class. For all you non-Russian speakers out there like me, Jeff has generously provided subtitles. Enjoy our big acting debut.

Life is getting better every day...

So, before Jeff and I started dating, this was one of the things that brought us together. We used to use this video as a standard for how we judged people on their sense of humor. We loved adventure time.

I even wanted to name my child "Pen" after the main character. The cleverness of this short film just tickled us on the inside so much. It was just a one-time 7 minute cartoon that a student sent in for a segment on Cartoon Network, seemingly never to become more than a short film...Anyway, then, this morning, Jeff's sisters brought this to my attention, and I nearly wet my pants with joy... (though I am slightly sad they changed his name to Finn... I liked Pen.)
