So, as Jeff drifted off to sleep last night, I seized the opportunity to sketch the night away. Sometimes I get into these drawing moods where I feel like I can produce art much more easily than normally. Yesterday was one of those days. I did these two things. The first (above) is a quick sketch that I got carried away with painting in photoshop (I meant only to have it be a pencil drawn comic) of my little snake encounter. Even looking at my drawing gives me the jibblies.
And secondly, is from Tangled. The original sketch wasn't so awesome, so I decided to fix my mistakes with vectors, the ever forgiving medium!
And finally, I have been seeing a lot of this "Steam Punk" thing drifting around. It is cool, I'm not quite sure if I get it completely, but I thought it would be fun to draw.
I have also started to dabble in photoshop painting. It is in anticipation of our purchase of photoshop CS5 and hopefully a new tablet for Christmas! I want to be ready to take off when I get these two extremely valuable assets. I feel like I have only scratched the surface of my potential, and all I need is the proper tools! I can't wait. Anyway, here is Tarzan and Jane.

Whoa! Good stuff. And we hope you get your artistic equipments for Christmas.
Mom and Dad
Steam punk stuff can be really cool, but yeah, I have no idea how to do it myself. Where did you get the texture for that wallpaper (or brush or whatever it is)?
